FamilyOnTheRun

Middle school is the stage wherein your kids’ education starts to get complicated. They`ll get busy from the academics down to the social scene, and we wanted a school with a good environment that will best fit them. After all, they`ll be in there for quite some time.

So how to do we do it? Here are some of the things we look at in choosing the right one

School Environment
First, we wanted a school that has a good environment and safe. Who wouldn’t want that? Right? The student-teacher ratio should be low so that your child will have the attention they need. The school`s policy should be agreeable for both parents and students. They must also have afterschool activities, clubs or any activities that will help with the development of your children. Most importantly, the school must be proactive with dealing with bullying.

Child Preference
It is important that your child likes the school, for they will be the one to attend after all. Although you may want to admit your kids to a very good school, just must make sure that they will fit and interested on the school they will be attending to. Never force your child to enter to a school just because it has a name. It will only hinder on your child`s interests and talents and in the end, they may get uninterested with school anymore.

Academics
Do a little bit of research about the school that you have chosen. Do they teach well and can adjust depending on each student’s needs? Does the school have facilities that will further help on your child`s learning? Does the school offer the extra-curricular activity that your child would want to participate to? Also, find out on whether the students who graduated from that school are doing good in their high school life.

Convenience

Before enrolling your child to a school that you have chosen, you need to assess your financial status too. Also ask yourself if the schools location is not a problem with you, if it is only near where your home is and if it is convenient for your child to get to. Know the school`s policy regarding on how they keep track with their students’ progress to parents.

·      Have better focus
·      Express themselves more clearly and precisely
·      Grow their creativity and imagination
·      Have more self-confidence
·      Gain respect from teachers and peers
·      Be more successful overall with less effort

SuperSkillsbox will also help your child prepare for their upcoming SAT exams. Having a high SAT score will help them get into better colleges. Which will be an advantage for having a brighter future ahead of them.

Children with larger vocabulary make them more confident to speak up and communicate effectively. Being able to understand and be understood is a very important thing in order to be successful in whatever path your child will take.

Though we are now living in a world of advanced technology, it is still better to learn in an old fashion way. Surely, it`ll be a lot easier to teach your kids with all the electronics that we have right now but kids tend to get bored easily or distracted with it.

SuperSkillsBox will not only help your child learn new words but will also promote interaction between you and your child. For we believe that parents getting involved with their children`s studies will have a major role in their learning development and adds motivation to their studies. After all, parents are their all-time teachers for their entire life.

Give your child the chance to know more and explore the wonders of their language by learning new words every day. Let them learn and have fun at the same time.
